I started RawPhotography in 2007, specialising in sports photography, in particular rugby. I finished playing around the same time and spent my Saturday afternoons capturing the action – instead of making it happen!

I chose the name RawPhotography because RAW is an uncompressed camera file format that also describes my style – unposed and natural.

I have since branched out into wedding, pet, family and school portrait photography.

Oh, I’ve taken the odd landscape or two, too!

The really personal stuff – I’m married with three children and (in what feels like a former life) I spent 25 years as a primary school teacher!
